This album is a classic. Rivers Cuomo was obviously going through a hard time, but pain makes for great art, specifically great rock music. This album is passionate, gritty and emotional. Rivers pours his heart into this album and it shows. Musically it is genius; the band is right on the money, every song (as they consistently are). This album will take you on a ride, punctuated with Rivers' occasional yelps and yells throughout. It's a different sound than the Weezer of recent, not as pop sounding.
