In this book, there is under each scale or mode (whatever you wish to call it) a section on the kind of chords and chord progressions over which the mode will work. There also some exercises which are very useful. It would have been great if the author had recorded a CD to come with the book. Everything is very well explained and everyone should be able to follow.
