The way this book is written is very easy to follow step by step. If you dedicate the time to it you will definitely learn at least the basics to intermediate skills of Flamenco. Of course it doesn’t replace an excellent Flamenco mestre but what you learn here can save you hundreds or a couple of thousand dollars it would cost you to learn by using an instructor. The CD/DVD is very helpful as well as the tabs and notes. Highly recommended if you have the discipline to progress through the book chapter by chapter going through all the exercises.
These Flamenco Guitar Method books and DVD’s by Graf Martinez are the prefect thing if you want to learn how to play flamenco. The DVD’s are very helpful, Before each example he explains a little bit about what to do. And in each example a score plays along on the bottom of the screen to what he is playing. He plays everything fast then very slow. The CD’s are also great, it has all of the examples in the 2 volumes at full speeds.

You can get the book somewhere else…it is not that hard to find. And why do you need the audio cd if you have the DVD’s?
