Not for the beginner. Would be helpful if one already new their Major Scales and fingering, and the diatonic chords built on the Major scale along with some music theory. Also knowledge of Bar Chords and some of their extensions would be helpful.
And if you find the book to difficult or moving to fast, perhaps you are not ready for this level of guitar playing . Also consider that a good teacher might be able to direct you in the right direction, or pace you through this book based on your experience and knowledge.
