In this edition of Guitar Gym, Chris Buono focuses on developing your power chording technique with an emphasis on clean & clear chord changing, timing, focus and endurance. Buono will guide you through 27 Workouts across 3 levels. Level 1 will establish a solid foundation through common low string set two-note voicings with Workouts ranging from 40 BPM to 100 BPM.
In Level 2 three-note voicings are put into the mix along with all other string set possibilities while the tempos increase to 50 BPM through 110 BPM. Level 3 Workouts push you to extremes with more challenging movements both vertically and horizontally as you play the established two- and three-note voicing approaches at a tempo range of 60 BPM and 120 BPM.
