Pepe Habichuela, a paragon of pure and earthy flamenco, unifies the traditional and the modern; in this video he reveals the magical world of his guitarra gitana. He plays eight selected pieces from his repertoire: Soleares, Alegria, Fandango de Huelva, Bulerias, Taranta, Solea por Bulerias, Tangos, as well as an unpublished version of his famous Rumba "A Mandeli".

Pepe plays each toque first at normal speed and then the individual falsetas are repeated slowly. Two percussionists accompany all the rhythmical palos. This video provides a fascinating selection of reproduceable pieces from one of the great masters of the flamenco guitar. Included PDF book with tabs and notes.
