If you are a 7 string guitarist and/or you love Unearth, get this dvd!!! The actual video is very good. It goes into detail without being a drag. Buz McGrath shows how he comes up with riffs and how to play some of the more difficult songs unearth made. The dvd box has riff-age from 3 of their albums and also goes into cool things such as complex arpeggio shapes, syncopated rhythms, and much more. A few of the riffs he played weren’t 100% accurate to the studio versions of songs but everyone makes mistakes.
He is good at instructing and doesn’t rush through the exercises. He plays out each note and does it at different speeds. The accompanying e-book did have the 7-string specific tablature/diagrams though so…
