Currently he is working on his own recording project as well as more instructional books and videos for guitar.
50 Licks Jazz Style DVD Package Bruce demonstrates the essential licks for the chords and progressions common to jazz II-V-I licks, turnaround licks, chromatic bebop lines, licks for altered chords and major and minor vamps and much more. Bruce also illustrates the licks in several styles: swing, bossa nova, samba, swing 16ths, funky fusion and bluesy suffles. Each lick is played in context, then demonstrated slowly with a full explanation on their proper applications.
This DVD presents an insightful look at jazz guitar. It is truly a unique opportunity to learn from one of today’s finest guitar instructors.
This video features 50 jazz licks clearly demonstrated. The great thing about this DVD is that these are great sounding jazz licks without being over the top technique wise. Many jazz books and videos show licks that are just way to hard for the beginning to intermediate jazz player. Each lick is played slow and fast and the tab book matches the DVD extremely well. Great DVD for learning a bunch of jazz licks. This is a straight forward dvd that gets right to the point. It is shown real time and slow motion with clear and concise finger movement.
